About the Role

We have 2 fulltime apprenticeship positions available in regional western Victoria.  An attractive remuneration package is being offered.  Immediate start.  â€‹

 

This apprenticeship role is not the climbing or tree maintenance fields, it is in the tree assessment field only. In this role, we offer on the job training as a Vegetation Field Officer / Vegetation Assessor.   You will enjoy a variety of ever-changing outdoor conditions and have an eye for detail and accuracy.

 

People of all ages and levels of experience encouraged to apply.

Duties

  • Assess trees around power line

  • Use GIS mapping systems and mobile computer technology to record and report

  • Provide excellent service to customers

  • Issue notifications to customers as required

​

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Current unrestricted driver's license

  • A commitment to working safely and productively outdoors

​

The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently

  • Great communication and customer service skills
